lazy?

after having spent 12 of the last 48 hours snow skiing (two days, 6 hours each day), I feel lazy sitting on my butt just listening to music and catching up on life.

but not as lazy as this...

contentment.

this is my first vacation post. ever.
I'm curled up on the carpet, a heater blasting on my right, snow 2 feet away just outside the glass window, a full stomach, and a very tired body. the picture of contentment.

as I skiied down beautiful snowy mountains today, I was talking to God and as "we" were talking, I was overcome with an intense feeling of safey and contentment.
God has me in his hands. he loves me. he holds me close, he carries me, he guides me. he created beautiful mountains, snow, the sunshine, me.
I am his...life may be uncertain, but I am his. I am content with this.

bring on this 25th year of life.
